Call of Duty Mobile is a giant title when it comes to mobile gaming. This game has a Multiplayer mode and Battle Royale, which is excellent.
However, some recent rumors suggest that Activision might split Call of Duty Mobile's two modes into two individual mobile games. That's because they plan to release Call of Duty Warzone on mobile as a separate mobile game.
Call of Duty Warzone May Release As The Second Mobile Game
As reported by Charlie Intel, recently a new job listing for Activision was leaked on the internet. Interestingly, the job listing is for ‘WZM,’ which is the code name for Warzone Mobile.
The list clearly states that this job is for “new mobile FPS in the Call of Duty franchise.” Also, the job description goes on to state that people applying for jobs must “harvest, adapt and deliver the essential features from Warzone console and PC into their best mobile instantiation.”
So, if the to-do list is legit, then it's pretty clear that Activision is planning to release Warzone for mobile.
But the question is, what does the Battle Royale mode already in Call of Duty Mobile mean? Well, if Activision did release Warzone for mobile, then there is a possibility that Call of Duty Mobile will only feature Multiplayer mode.
Well, in the future there may be two Call of Duty Mobile games, one for the Multiplayer mode from Modern Warfare, and another featuring the Battle Royale experience from Warzone.
Also, there is little chance that the rumored Warzone mobile game will only feature a first-person battle royale. That way, players will get the complete Warzone experience on mobile, which can be overwhelming.
