Elon Musk’s Neuralink Plan To Stream Music Directly In Your Head

We have learned that Elon Musk's innovative startup, Neuralink, works to make chips that can function as brain-computer interfaces. Now the founder of SpaceX has revealed another technological capability — and that is streaming music directly in your head.

This means that if Elon Musk's Neuralink brain implant succeeds, earphones can become ancient history at one point in the future. Musk confirmed the news on Twitter when a computer scientist, Austin Howard, asked whether a Neuralink brain implant would be able to stream music directly to someone's brain.

In a series of tweets, Howard asked, “can we listen to music directly from our (Neuralink brain) chips?” What is Elon's simple answer, “Yes.”

In a further tweet, Musk also said that Neuralink could help control hormone levels and use them to our advantage (enhanced abilities and reasoning, anxiety relief, etc.).”

After being founded in 2016, Neuralink only held one major public conference on how technology will work.

Last year at an event, Elon Musk further revealed that Neuralink was working on a device “sewing machine-like” that would implant chips into the brain.

It is said that the brain-computer interface will help people suffering from brain diseases such as Parkinson's and many others.
