Facebook Messenger now allows you to share your screen on a mobile device

RakitAplikasi.com/en - Facebook has activated the screen sharing feature for Messenger on mobile devices, allowing you to share the screen of your phone or tablet when calling one-on-one friends, in group chats, or when taking part in larger conversations through the Messenger Room.

Currently, you can share your screen (or pictures from your camera roll, or your Instagram feed, or whatever you like) with up to eight people in a group chat or up to 16 people in the Messenger Room. However, Facebook says it is working to expand the feature to 50 people in the room. This update is available on Android and iOS.

To share your screen, first make sure you have installed the latest version of Messenger. Then, during a call, swipe up from the bottom of your screen to reveal call options. Then click 'share your screen,' 'start sharing,' and then 'start broadcast' (maybe Facebook gives you lots of warnings so you don't start sharing anything accidentally). After that, you can navigate as you wish on the phone, or return to the call to stop the broadcast.

This is a welcome feature. Video calls have become the mercy of saving this pandemic, allowing you to connect with friends, family, and colleagues, and sharing screens is very useful. You can catch up with loved ones by flipping through photos on the camera roll from a recent trip, or discussing details about work projects with coworkers.

Although screen sharing is already available on several video chat services, including Skype and Zoom, Messenger works well on mobile devices, so having options on iOS and Android is a big improvement.
