Apparently, gamers can freely interact with these sandcastles. However, this won’t fetch them any in-game rewards or XP. Sandcastles in Fortnite were accidentally introduced. There appears to be a visual glitch as they were expected to be released next week for the weekly challenges.

Week 10 Challenge will live on May 20. For one of the challenges, players must destroy ten sandcastles in Fortnite to complete the challenge.

However, it seems that Epic inadvertently revealed a way of surprise before it was expected to appear. They will receive 24000 XP upon completing the weekly challenge, which involves destroying the sandcastle in Fortnite.
