Fortnite Season 7 leak reveals major changes to the center of the map

Fortnite often changes the map drastically, be it for storyline purposes or just to keep the game fresh. In the history of Fortnite, the center of the island has undergone many changes. Leaks reveal that there could be another big change coming to this location.

The center of the map has witnessed several major events, from a massive meteor to the location of Point Zero, both of which have resulted in major changes to the entire map. Here's what the latest leak has to say about that location.

Fortnite leaked map center destruction

HYPEX, a data miner, thinks that the center of the map will probably be a low-gravity biome where players can also swim. This location is often the epicenter of seasonal and other changes. A lot of things in Fortnite have started and ended in the middle of the map. It's also not the first time the map has been altered by water.

In the previous season, most of the map was flooded, giving way to the sharks and swimming mechanics that have remained since then. Players can swim in rivers and seas now, but the huge aquatic biome will be new. The zero-gravity aspect might come from a new zero-gravity item that hasn't been released yet. This was teased in the trailer for Chapter 2 Season 7.

While no dates have been set for these events, Fortnite is poised to have an important season. The leak indicates that the Coral Castle will be destroyed and the temptation indicates the possible return of the Tilted Towers. There will also be a live event at Believer Beach that may or may not affect other things in the upcoming season. Maybe it's a welcome party for whatever destroys other aspects of the map.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 is poised to be a world-changing season in Fortnite. Many Fortnite POIs and other features are set to change drastically.
