Fortnite Update v19.01 patch notes: Dual Deagles, Christmas celebrations, WinterFest 2021, and more

The first update of Fortnite for Chapter 3 is coming tomorrow. v19.01 is set to arrive and bring some significant changes to the game. The beginning of Chapter 3 has changed a lot, but more than that, change is coming soon. New items, new weapons, new challenges, and more have been leaked before. This is what players can expect.

Early patch notes for Fortnite v19.01: Here's what players can expect

The Imagined Order has long been revealed as the bad guy in the Fortnite lore/storyline. This was doubled when The Foundation, Dwayne Johnson, returned and set a live record at The End's live event. Now, an update is ready to add him back to the map as an antagonist to players and challenges.

Here are all the EXACT upcoming locations of the Christmas trees (for upcoming challenges) & IO outposts/guards.

IO Outpost was a big part of Chapter 2 Season 8 and is coming back thanks to the 19.01 update. Simultaneously, a new Christmas tree will arrive on the map. Christmas is just under two weeks away, so Fortnite just keeps getting even more festive this season.

One of the biggest updates coming tomorrow is the dual hand cannon. Fortnite hasn't had a weapon like this since Deadpool's Mythic hand cannon was in the game.

A reminder that there's an upcoming "Dual Hand Cannons" weapon, and we might get to see its stats & image in tomorrow's 19.01 update (or 19.10).

These will most likely not be Mythic items, but they will still be the first time any version of the Hand Cannon has been in the game in some time. It's not confirmed if this will arrive in tomorrow's update or the next one, but a closer look will be available tomorrow at least.

A marquee upgrade is also a possibility for this Fortnite update. They will soon be upgradeable and get to have picnics and campfires with them. These upgrades will cost you gold, so Fortnite players will get something else to spend.

Tents will be receiving an update tomorrow.

This update and many more are very likely for tomorrow's update. The update will likely go live in the morning (Eastern Time) and be available after a minor update to the app.
