It was recently revealed that a Fortnite x Dead by Daylight collaboration is imminent. No game is stranger to joint ventures, and it's sure to be fun to see them collaborating.

A recent report revealed that more than 50 percent of the Item Shop skins in Fortnite Chapter 3 came from collaborations. This number could increase if the video game developer finally decides to collaborate with Dead by Daylight.

Both games have been hugely popular in recent years and there's no doubt that a potential Fortnite x Dead by Daylight collaboration will benefit both video titles.

According to iFireMonkey, one of the most popular leakers, the Fortnite x Dead by Daylight collaboration has been discussed between Epic Games and Behavior Interactive.

According to the leaker, the collaboration will bring Meg Thomas as an outfit to Fortnite Battle Royale. On the other hand, Dead by Daylight players will get the Llama charm.

The leaker also mentioned that a potential Fortnite x Dead by Daylight crossover had been discussed since March. Given that we still haven't gotten this collaboration, it could mean it has been rejected by one of the developers.

However, it could also mean that it is still in the works and could be released soon. We'll have to wait and see if we get official confirmation or at least a few more leaks in the near future.

The collaboration will be a step in the right direction

Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer survival horror game released in 2016. Like Fortnite, it is available on all platforms, from PC and consoles to mobile devices. Some of his collaborations have increased his player base by a sizeable margin.

The potential Fortnite x Dead by Daylight collaboration will have a positive impact on the popularity of the battle royale video game. Many battle royale players will most likely give horror games a try and see what makes them so popular.

According to the Web Tribunal, Dead by Daylight has about a million daily active players, which is great. It has been downloaded more than 36 million times across all platforms and it broke the record of 100,000 concurrent players in 2021.

Even though the horror game is not as popular as Fortnite, it still has a lot of active players and a great community.

Another similarity is that Epic Games and Behavior Interactive, the developers of two popular games, have collaborated with other games. This collaboration is the main reason why these two games are so popular. They even have a few collaborations in common, including Resident Evil and Stranger Things.

This collaboration seems like a win-win scenario for both developers, and hopefully it will be released soon. Fortnite players have created several Creative maps inspired by horror games, which means they are intrigued by such content.
