How to get the Fortnite Final prize (Crescent Shroom) in Chapter 3 Season 1

Fortnite recently experienced one of the worst server outages in its history. The server was down for hours without repair. When they finally got back up, they came down again the next day for a while. When this happened in the past, Fortnite players were given gifts and many are expecting the same to happen this time around.

There's also an issue that pops up telling players there are rewards to unlock in the cabin when there aren't any. That has been fixed with players finally being awarded the final prize. Here's how to get it in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1.

How to unlock the last Fortnite Present in Chapter 3 Season 1

There's been a lot of speculation about the final prize, with many finding faults suggesting it's a potential Spider-Man skin. The gift box turns red and blue and is labeled with MJ, the popular Spider-Man character who will join as an NPC later.

In the end, the final bounty for players has nothing to do with Spider-Man. The prizes won't be released soon either. The Crescent Shroom Pickaxe has been set as a gift but won't be here until January 7th.

The Pickaxe will be available to every player who even logs in during WinterFest 2021. It will also be added to the Item Shop at a later date, so even those who don't qualify will be able to have it.

Fortnite is also starting Power Leveling Weekend from January 7 to January 10 to help offset potential XP lost when players can't play. Fortunately, server issues don't interfere with the game anymore and players can get free cosmetics and start making up for a lost time.

While this is not skin and not a Spider-Man cosmetic, which may disappoint some players, the free pickaxe is a great gift for players. It will be available when players log in, as a gift, on the 7th.
