Cheats

Unlock Everything (the Only Cheat You Really Need)

At the main menu hold down the LEFT THUMBSTICK and enter Left, Up, X, Up, Right, Y, Left, A, Right, Down.

Unlock All Bonuses

At the main menu hold down the LEFT THUMBSTICK and enter A, Left, Left, B, Right, A, White, Left.

Unlock Championship Mode

At the main menu hold down the LEFT THUMBSTICK and enter Start, Left, A, Y, Down, A, Y.

2 Player Ninja Challenge

At the main menu click and hold the left thumbstick and press B, UP, DOWN, DOWN, Y.

All Island Scenes

At the main menu click the left thumbstick and hold it down and press B, A, Y, START, A, WHITE, A, Y. If you put it in right you will hear an applause.

Countering

Hold Block (R) and as soon as you see an enemy attack, hit Y. This will stun them. Now follow up with your own combo (they can't counter it, they are staggard).

Attacks

X, X, X - Basic combo X, X, Y - No lag time at end, prevents counter attack X, Y - Quick combo X, X, A+X - Slow unblockable combo X, Y, B - Quick combo with throw attempt A+B - Spin Attack, against people who block or if surrounded Y,X quick knockdown X,X,Y,X flashy combo Y,X,Y powerfull, but blockable X,X,Y, X+A quick, flashy and unblockable, but counterable Y,X, X+A fast, unblockable, but counterable replace X+A with Y+B in each bombo that ends with X+A and you get the spin attack combos

Hints

WaterWheel Mini-Game

Spin attack a lot at first, since its moving too slow to jump over. At medium speeds, spin attack right after you dodge or knock it away. This will automatically prevent a ninja next to you from swinging it back in your direction. When it's moving really fast, jump when it's over the ninja next to you. If it's moving fast, it will give you enough time to land and jump over it if a ninja next to you knocks it back at you.

Waterfall, Fish And Turtles

Try to stay in the middle of the waterfall and time your throws of the turtle to hit the fish. Don't get too far to the edges as you will have to carry the turtles back to the center and will usually get eaten by the time you throw the turtle.

Mini-Game With Seals

A seal will pop up in front of the ninja that comes out of the water not waving his arms. Wait until the seal is gone before throwing the life preserver.

Best Combos For Enemies

Yellow (Scorpion) Ninja: X, X, X Red Ninja: X, X, B or X, Y, B White Blindfolded Ninja: X, X, Y White Ninja: X, Y, B or X, X, A+B or X, X, X+A

Kill Credit

The only way to get credit for killing an enemy with a stage hazard is to make them dizzy. If they get killed by a stage hazard and are not dizzy, you do not get the kill credit.

Ninja Battle Mode

On stages where you fight Ninjas, you get more starpower for killing more ninjas. Perform kills as quickly as possible. Make sure you are at least indirectly responsible for the ninja kill. Taunt after every kill and save your Special for tough battles.

Taunting

One of the best ways to finish a player off it to taunt them after an attack as it temporarily paralyzes them. Hit L immediately after the combo. Using a super right after will result in double points.

Play as one of the following characters on the indicated level to unlock their alternate costume:

Level: Legend Of Drunken Bastards   Play as Xiu Tan Sour and get 3 or more stars to unlock her alternate costume.     Level: Enter The Dino   Play as Monkey and get 3 or more stars to unlock his alternate costume.     Level: Revengeance Day   Play as Lucy Cannon and get 3 or more stars to unlock her alternate costume.     Level: Gigantic Crack   Play as Chop & Styx and get 3 or more stars to unlock his alternate costume.     Level: The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly Princess   Play as Ninja Fu Hiya and get 3 or more stars to unlock his alternate costume.     Level: Night Of The Living Fog   Play as Ninja Fu Hiya and get 3 or more stars to unlock his alternate costume.   

Unlocking Bonuses

Finish a level with a 4 or 5 star rank to unlock one or more bonus.
