Restore Health

Press and hold L1 L2 R1 R2, then press Square, Square, O, O. This cheat is useable for every character in the game.

Restore Missiles (Every Character)

Pause the game by pressing start. Next while doing each of these codes hold R1 R2 L1 L2 and then enter the code while still holding the four buttons.

Co-op Health

When playing co-op use Triangle, Up, Square(2) so that when ever you get a health bottle your partner get health to.

Invincible

Press start, hold L1, L2, R1, R2 then press Square, Circle, Square, Up. (note: Must have beaten the game for this code to work.)

Legolas Gains 1,000 Experience Points

Pause game play, then hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press X, Triangle, Up, X. A sound will confirm correct code entry.

Perfect Mode

Press and hold L1, R1, L2, R2 then press Circle, Up, Triangle, X.

1,000 Experience For Pippin

Pause the game, hold all shoulder buttons (R1 R2 L1 L2) and press, Triangle, X, Square, X.

1,000 Experience For Merry

Pause the game, hold all shoulder buttons, (R1 R2 L1 L2)and press down(2), square, X.

Infinite Missiles

Press and hold L1 L2 R1 R2 and then press Square, Square, Down ,O. This code is only available after you beat the game.

Gandalf Has All Special Abilities

Pause the game, then hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press Up, Down, Triangle, Circle. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound. Repeat this code to disable its effect.

Legolas Has All Special Abilities

Pause the game, then hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press Triangle, Circle, X, Circle. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound. Repeat this code to disable its effect.

Aragorn Has All Special Abilities

Pause the game, then hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press Down, Circle, Triangle(2). If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound. Repeat this code to disable its effect.

Co-op Experience Points

When playing co-op use Down, X, X, X so that your buddy gets the experience points you do.

Hints

Beating The Spider

We the spider goes away and you have to beat the other little spiders and you beat them. Wait a minuet and when she jumps at you back away then Try to get behing her when she falls because then you can beat her easily.

Unlocking Bonus Maps With Aragorn And Legolas

To unlock the bonus maps Moria and Helm's Deep, you must kill 2,000 enemies. To check how many enemies you killed, press start and then L. You will see an orc head and a number next to it, that's how many enemies you killed. Then go to the main menu screen and activate Bonus Maps. Choose either Aragorn or Legolas and there will be 4 doors. The first will be Moria and the third will be Helm's Deep. (WARNING: Helm's Deep level may be a bit hard even on normal)!

Killing Champions

When you start the level at Cirith Ungol, put on Sam's Elven cloak to make him invisible, then go up to the chamion's back and hit the R2 button. This will automatically kill him, and you will only have to deal with the normal orcs.

Palantir Of Saruman Level

Successfully complete the game by finishing the Crack Of Doom level.

Palantir Of Sauron Level

Successfully complete the game by finishing the Crack Of Doom level with a Gandalf, Sam, and either Gimili, Legolas, or Aragorn at level 10.

Play As Faramir

Successfully complete the game.

Crack Of Doom: Defeating Gollum

When you knock Gollum off the cliff and he is hanging there, press R2 (or the kill move button). He will fall which does damage.

Paths Of The Dead

After you defeat the King of the Dead, you have to run back through the level as the whole place comes down on your head. When you get to the white mists that really slow you down, try facing the opposite direction and press L2 to jump backwards. This lets you get through the mist faster.

Walls Of Minas Tirith: Siege Towers

Destroy the first siege tower with the catapult near the middle of the wall. It requires two hits to topple. For the second tower that rolls over to the far right, you can just use your projectiles to take it out. Keep firing at it in order to bring it down.

Entering Perfect Mode

Use the following trick to enter Perfect mode very quickly without taking any damage. When surrounded by a group of enemies, rapidly press Square (Parry) to block all incoming attacks. As you block, your special meter rises very quickly, bringing you to Perfect mode. You can now quickly take out all nearby enemies while racking up the perfects. This is very useful in Pelennor Fields.

Invisible Sam

After you complete the game, play as someone else besides Sam. You will not see Sam when you save Frodo after the spider level.
