Play As Orochimaru

Successfully complete Arcade mode with Jiraiya to unlock Orochimaru.

Play As Jiraiya

Successfully complete Arcade mode with Tsunade to unlock Jiraiya.

Play As Kyubi Naruto

Successfully complete Arcade mode with Itachi to unlock Kyubi Naruto.

Play As Gaara

Successfully complete Story mode on the Hard difficulty to unlock Gaara.

Get Temari

Beat the game once.

Completing Story Mode

When you complete story mode on easy you unlock Temary and Might Guy and when you beat it on hard you unlock Gaara

Unlock Tsunade

Beat the game on the difficult setting without losing once.

Play As Temari

Successfully complete Story mode on the Normal difficulty to unlock Temari.

Play As Gai

Successfully complete Story mode without using any continues to unlock Gai.

Play As Sasuke Cursed Seal 2

Unlock all other characters, then complete Arcade mode with Sasuke again to unlock Sasuke Cursed Seal 2.

Play As Tsunade

Unlock Gai, Temari, and Gaara to unlock Tsunade.

Play As Itachi

Successfully complete Arcade mode with all default characters to unlock Itachi.

Hints

Get Rasengan Technique

Defeat Orochimaru and go to the main menu. Go to the battle mode option. Pick player vs. CPU or single player. Pick Naruto as player#1 or player#2. It shows two options of attacks. Press rasengan and continue with the match.
