Enter one of the following codes at the indicated screen to activate the   corresponding cheat function. If you entered the code correctly, a small logo will   appear. Note: The latest patch is required for some codes, such as the codes   that are entered at the credits screen may only be enabled with the latest version   patch. Hints

Victory Scream

Press [Big Deke] after scoring a goal or winning a fight. The player on your team that scored or won the fight will scream loudly.

Bonus Commentary

Scream three complete times after scoring a goal.

Good Players

To get really good players (Jagr, Kariya, LeClair, etc.) get a player with about a 65 overall rating. Trade for a 67, then a 69, then a 71.

Get Any Player In Season Mode

In season mode, go to "Commissioner", "Edit User Control", click the desired team. Return to the season menu, then click "Select Team" and choose the new team. Then, click "Coach Options", "Trade", go to your other team, and trade the desired player. Return to "Edit User Control" and let the CPU take over for the rest of the season. Note: You can repeat this as many times as needed.

Fights

When you fight, do not let the other team win. If that happens, you will have four men on the ice and the other team will have five.

Less Penalty Minutes After A Fight

When the players start pushing each other around, don't do anything. If you don't do anything, you'll get 2 minutes but the other guy will get 5 minutes.

Win Faceoffs Easier

In any mode for a game, either wait until you see the referee's hand go up or just keep pressing the pass button during a faceoff to win it.
