Resident Evil Village: Release Date

Capcom confirms that the Resident Evil Village release date is May 7, 2021. So, players will be able to play Ethan Winters in a few months.

Resident Evil Village: Story

The Resident Evil Village story takes place right after the events of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.

Ethan Winters has escaped Heisenberg's clutches. A series of events led by Chris Redfield, the fan-favorite protagonist in the Resident Evil franchise, take Winters to a strange castle. At Castle, new dangers await Winters as he tries to find out the motive behind Chris's actions.

Resident Evil Village: Gameplay

Similar to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, players will take control of Ethan Winters. They will experience the game from a first-person perspective, which will immerse them completely in the environment.

Ethan Winters will find an authentic place to find his kidnapped daughter. On the way, Winters will fight various enemies with a unique fighting style. So, players have to use different strategies to defeat each enemy.

Interestingly, the developer has introduced crafting at Resident Evil Village. This means that players can create their own useful items, such as first aid kits.

Resident Evil Village: Demo

Surprisingly, Capcom announced the Resident Evil Village Demo for PS5, which you can download now. In the demo, you'll be playing a new character known as "Maiden." With the demo, players can enjoy the game's audio and visuals. However, you won't be fighting anyone in the Resident Evil Village Demo.

Currently, the Resident Evil Demo is only available for the PS5. However, Capcom promises to release Demos for each platform this spring.

Platform: Is Resident Evil Village Coming to Xbox & PS4?

Fortunately, Capcom's Resident Evil Village is present on the last generation and current generation consoles, namely PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S. Also, this horror survival game will be released for Windows.
