Secret Stage Mode

Complete all 7 special stages, then, on the main menu, press Up, R, Down, L, Right, Left Secret Stage Mode

Unlockables

Hints

Play As Knuckles

Start a new game and successfully complete all three Acts of Sunset Hill Zone to unlock Knuckles.

Defeat Hagman's Big Hammer

Use flying fox to deafeat the Hammer. Go close but not too close and hit the HAMMER. Do not get too close or you will get electrocuted!

Boss Time Attack

Successfully completed the game. Do not have all Emeralds but have a Golden Ring in all stages (Act 1, 2, 3 and vs. Boss).

Sound Test

Successfully complete the game. You do not need all the Chaos Emeralds. The "Sound Test" option will appear just above "Delete Game Data" in the options menu.

Play As Cream

Start a new game and successfully complete all three Acts of Cyber Track Zone to unlock Cream.

Play As Amy

Start a new game and successfully complete all three Acts of Toy Kingdom Zone to unlock Amy.

Easter eggs

Eggman Helping Sonic?

After getting ALL 7 chaos emralds choose Sonic and anyone else, then beat the final level. After you beat it, instead of the credits, you fight ANOTHER boss. You will be Super Sonic, and your partner will be Eggman! I don't know why, BUT IT'S COOL! To beat this boss, hold in R until Eggman charges up, then relase R facing the tiny bump on the metal ball. It will open, revealing an eye! Hit the eye to damage it.
