Cheats

Spyro Blends With Water

Pause the game and press Left, Right, Left, Right, then L1, R1, L1, R1, Square, Circle. You will hear a sound, but do not un-pause. Press Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Square, R1, R2, L1, L2, Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, X. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear another sound. Un-pause the game and play.

Get 99 Lives

Pause the Game, then press: R2, L2, R2, L2, Up(4), Circle. You'll hear a sound and then lives will add up.

Squid Skating

When you are in either skateboarding levels, just pause the game, go to the help screen and press the following: Up, Up, Left, Left, Right, Right, Down, Down, Square, Circle, Square. Then you should be skating on a squid.

Make Spyro A Shadow

Pause your game and press Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Square, R1, R2, L1, L2, Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, Down. Un-Pause the game. Now Spyro is black, but he doesn't look like a shadow does he? Pause again and press Left, Right, Left, Right, L1, R1, L1, R1, Square, Circle. Wait for a sound. Now Spyro is a shadow! All you really do is turn Spyro black and make him flat.

Level Select

Enter the Inventory menu by pressing select at anytime during the game, then press the following buttons: Square, Square, Circle, Left, Right, Left, Right, Circle, Up, Right, Down The next time you visit a balloonist, you'll have access to all the worlds in the game.

Squid Surfing!

Go to a SKATE PARK challenge level, press select than press up, up, left, left, right, right, down, down, square, circle, square! Then you should be able to surf on a squid! P.S. There is a SKATE PARK challenge in the very first level in the game. To reach it you must find the Mayor, turn left, than follow the passage way to the challenge level door and walk in!

Turn Spyro Blue

To turn spyro blue, just pause the game then enter this code: up, left, down, right, up, square, R1, R2, L1, L2, up, right, down, left, up, X. Then you will here a sound then un-pause the game and spyro will be blue.

Turn Spyro Red

To turn spyro red, all you have to do is pause the game and enter this code: up, left, down, right, up, square, R1, R2, L1, L2, up, right, down, left, up, circle. Then you will hear a sound then un-pause the game and spyro will be red.

Skate On A Squid

Press start and go to the inventory screen. Then press up, up, left, left, right, right, down, down, sqare, circle, sqare.

Make Spyro Look Like He Got Fried

Pause your game and press Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Square, R1, R2, L1, L2, Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, Down.

Turn Spyro Green

Pause the game and press UP, LEFT, DOWN, RIGHT, UP, SQUARE, R1, R2, L1, L2, UP, RIGHT, DOWN, LEFT, UP, TRIANGLE.

2D Spyro

After pausing the game press Left, Right, Left, Right, L1, R1, L1, R1, Square, Circle.

Turn Spyro Purple

Pause the game and press Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Square, R1, R2, L1, L2, Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, Right.

Turn Spyro Yellow

Pause the game and press Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Square, R1, R2, L1, L2, Up, Right, Down, Left, Up(2).

Turn Spyro Pink

Pause the game and press Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Square, R1, R2, L1, L2, Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, Circle.

Hints

Infinite Lives

To get infinite lives, do one of the following:

1. Make Hannah your 60th egg. She'll send a fireball that will give Spyro infinite health as well as infinite lives, which can be useful when trying to get the Tank blast eggs in Haunted Tomb.    2. Make Grayson your 21st egg. You'll get the rest of the gems and eggs as well.    3. Make Isabelle your 2nd egg. It will start raining.    4. Save the game while getting Buzz. The lava will turn into saliva.    5. To turn into Croc, make Al your 149th egg.  

How To Get A Bunch Of Points In The Skatepark In Encanted Towers

When you get to the skatepark, go to the giant ramp and do a bunch of front flips and back flips, then on the arch jump do two front or back flips and land it perfectly, you will get a bunch of points. Good luck it takes some practice but you will get better.

Never Ending Fall

Once the two pandas in bamboo terrace move the giant stone jump on top of them and it will make Spyro look like he is falling.

Big

Notice this, in Frozen Alters ice beams come from your mouth, well use 2D mode and stand on stoop by to the snowman. Now glide and slip through the entry. Then you can breath fire and melt the snowman from behind!!!!

Ice Birds

When you go into the second level on spyro there is a portal called ice cavern. When you get there there are some birds. You may just think the birds are for decoration but they arent if you shoot them they give you jewels!!!

Tiki Heads

When you come back to molten crater and go to the sargent birds place to replace the tiki heads there are some birds. If you shoot the birds they will go aways but they will come back. To put some of the tiki heads on pick up a tiki head and shoot the birds. Then put the tiki heads on.

Byrd's Base In Molten Crater.

In Molten Crater there's a bridge in front of Sgt. Byrd's cage, jump onto the smaller post then from the smaller post jump onto the bigger one. Now glide and land on the top of his cage. Walk towards the wall behind the cage and you should appear in his level. So if you want to complete Sunrise Spring, you don't have to come back to Molten Crater. THIS ONLY WORKS IN MOLTEN CRATER!!! This is fairly difficult, but after your 3rd or 4th try it will work.

Where Is Hunter When You Need Him?

You might get confused about those special eggs you have to get on the speedways. They all involve Hunter. To do these, you must be up to Evening Lake and a mini-movie will show where Hunter falls into a trap. To rescue him, go further into the game and when you have a lot of progress, go to Midnight Mountain and another mini-movie will appear eventually where the Sorceress turns nice, because she finds out that the real Sorceress (the one who is training her) wants to actually kill the baby dragons. In another mini-movie, she will free Hunter secretly and the next couple of times she comes to talk to you, she'll be dressed differently. Here are the secret places where Hunter will be in each speedway after you rescue him: 1.In Sunrise Springs, complete the speedway in time attack and race the butterflies and then feel free to go to the area where the flowers are. Go to the half cicle of them where you are about to go into a cave with spiders and turn SHARPLY right. There will be a stout mushroom on a small island. Go behind it. There is a secret indentation there where Hunter will be. 2. In Midday Gardens, complete the speedway in time attack and race the airplanes and then feel free to go into the house to your left. Hunter will be in the one with the blue shudders. 3. In Evening Lake, complete the speedway in time attack and race the honeybees and from where you start in time-attack, do time attack up to the part with the beehives that you must fly through and he will be standing, down on the ground. 4. In Midnight Mountain, complete the speedway in time attack and race the birds Hunter will be in the lighthouse with the blue tiles.

Turn Lava Into Boogers In Spike's Arena

Press Start 12 times when in Bamboo Terrace or Spooky Swamp.

Lizard Life's

In Midnight Mountain run around the place and kill all the lizards(When a lizard getsto close to the side use your flamethrower).

I'm Falling!

After Chi-Chi & Li, the 2 Pandas in "Bamboo Terrace" roll away the stone, jump to the space between them & the stone, & Spyro will make the motions as if he were falling! CUTE!

"Lava, Come Back to Me!"

When you are playing as James Bird(the Penguin), sometimes when you bomb a chest, gems will overflow, & fall to the lava. Lost, right? WRONG! Make SURE you still have at least 1 bomb, you CAN land on the lava with the bomb, & get it! No explosions!

Spooky Swamp Passages

Wondering how Sheiela can get to the gems behind the iron bars in Spooky Swamp? She's able to kick through the walls in many parts of the level. Check the aqua blue wall (not cracked, incidentally!), near the egg caves. There are more passages. For another passage go a TINY bit past the twins, then double-jump. While you are in the air look to your left... You will see a crack up high. You Know what to do next... Don't you?!? There is two more passages. If you go further into the level you will find a door that leads into a room. Go in it. Double-jump again (faceing the wall), and you'll see another crack. Kick the crack. After that go further in the level and you'll find another door with a room. Go in it. And you'll find another crack. That's my code. I hope you get more gems.

Super Bounus Mania!

You may have known that there is something else besides fighting the Soceress. After you beat her make sure you go back to all the worlds you went to. Get every single egg and gem. Then go back to Midnight Mountain, find the Harbor Speedway portal look to your right and you will find an island with many lizards. Glide over and you will find a portal that says Super Bounus Round. Jump in it! Good Luck!

Secret Passage

In the Midday Gardens is a portal called Bamboo Terrance. Near the beginning is a pool. Get into it and you'll see a couple of gems and walls (of course). Anyways after your in the pool look around the walls and you'll see one wall with holes in it. Charge at the wall and you should get some butterflies, you should get about 4 or 5.

Rynoc Surprise!

Enter Frozen Alters and freeze on of the guys that is trying to hit you with a rock. While he is frozen charge into the pile of rocks next to him. When he un-freezes he will moon you untill you get rid of him.

Freeing Sheila The Kangaroo

To free Sheila, you need to collect 300 gems and when you do, Sheila will kick Moneybags outta there.

Extra Lives

An easy way to get alot of lives is to burn ten sheep for one life, run away and come back (you don't have to run to far) they will be there and burn them. Do this over and over again.

Glide Farther

Charge-jump instead of walk-jump when gliding to go noticably farther. Most usfull for skillpoints.

Don't Die

If you are falling to your doom just pause the game quickly and exit the level. This doesn't work in homeworlds

Raging Ripto

Do a Gnasty gnorc then hold left and do 3 rolls it will give you about 5000 points. Must be done in the second Skatepark. (Requires Lots of Air!)

More Skate Tricks

1. Raging Ripto - the ultimate trick. Do half a back flip so you are inverted and roll right as many times as you can, you will receive 3150 points for this simple maneuver. 2. The other way to do the triple towers in enchanted towers skate park. As you come through look to your left and you will see a cliff, hop on a board and skate up the point where the cliff meets a wall. Turn sharp right. You will now be on the side of the cliff. Turn right a bit then turn left and jump, steering towards the tower and complete all three for the 1000 points in style. 3. Die on a skate board, do the same as trick 2 but follow the point where the cliff meets the wall and try to get over the edge.

Tricks/Moves in Skateboarding

Here are some cool moves that you could do in some of the skate board tracks. TRICKS WHAT TO DO 1. Backflip Press Triangle, Down 2. Frontflip Press Triangle, Up 3. RollLeft Press Triangle, Left 4. RollRight Press Triangle, Right 5. SpinLeft Press Left on halfpipe ramp. 6. SpinRight Press Right on halfpipe ramp. 7. Twistedlime Press Triangle, Left or Right, Down 8. Twisted lemon Press Triangle, Left or Right, Down 9. Halfpipeleap Leap a halfpipe ramp. 10. Tripletowers Jump on three towers 11. Gulp Spin 4 times Left 12. Biggulp Spin 5 times Left 13. Crush Spin 4 times Right 14. Orangecrush Spin 5 times Right 15. Dr.shemp Roll 4 times Left 16. Toasty Roll 5 times Right 17. Trashmaster Hold Triangle then Press Down, Left then after that just keep on holding Triangle then Press Down, Left. Note: Do it fast! 18. Gnastygnorc Hold Triangle then do backflip. After that do a half way backflip then just keep on holding Triangle then Press Left, Down

Easy Buzz Beat

Buzz is the giant green toad at the end of the Sunrise Spring Home. Two Hits,and he'll jump into a Flame Circle. When he jumps into a Flame Circle, Wait and then charge when it's gone. Two Hits afterward,and he'll jump into a Flame Circle and Spit Fire. When this occurs, Glide over the first volley of flame and and Charge him before he can spit again. When he is hit(Period), he will use a Buzz-Saw technique. Run to the other side of the arena before he gets back up. When he attacks, Wait until he starts and then charge in a big circle until he stops.

Sparx Task

After you beat a world, you can go back to it. Once you have gone back to the world you have beaten, you'll see Zoe hovering over the sign that has a picture of Spark. Go to her, and she'll ask you if Spark is ready for that task.(Say yes). After you've beaten that task Sparx will gain an extra ability.

Portal to the Sorceress

To get to the portal that will lead you to the sorceress you must have 100 dragon eggs.
