The Story Of Twisted Metal

Twisted Metal IV is the #1 Twisted Metal game it brings in the main story of the twisted metal tournament where Sweet Tooth takes over Calypso as the new Empire this is also the only game where you can play as Calypso now heres the main story Calypso was a normal man with a poor life when he found a mysterius ring a ring with a power a dark power which allowed him too steal the souls of the dead and Maximize his power so he created a tournament called Twisted Metal where contestents battled though stages in vehicals of their choice certain levels have a boss you must beat too advance if you win your prize of a single wish anything you can desire if you lose you lose your soul now in one of these tournaments a boy named Needles Kane joined as Sweet Tooth and became a evil clown and drove a ice cream truck when he won he asked too become the star of twisted metal and so he did until he overpowered Calypso and stole the ring of souls and now Calypso has too win his own tournament too re claim his throne as the Twisted Metal Empire.

Strategy's To The Bosses

Crusher: simple just kill him like anyone else just watch out for the front end
Moon Buggy: mortars get a bunch of those and ram him head on and fire it takes out big chunks and use sheild up up right on his special
Super Thumper: kill him how ever you want just stay from the front
RC Car: fire's and homing missles freeze him and shoot him with them
Super Auger & Super Slamm: hit one at a time and use the moon buggy skill
Super Axel: use the moon buggy and rc car skills
Minion: stay near those teleports and kill him quick if your about too die teleport until your with him again hit him quick and teleport away keep doing that
Sweet Tooth: gather as many weapons as you can and then kill him and if he hits you with his special use sheild up up right then hit him again repeat this and hes dead.

Easy Kill On Road Rage

First get three proximity mines. Then take the teleporter that takes you to a higher part of the level near the ramp, with a fence on one side, then exactly where you land place three proximity mines. If they take the teleporter, they will usually fly over the fence and into instant death.

Infinite Lightning

Make sure that infinite special is not on or it won't work. On any level that has a lightning you can do it. Get a lightning, then shoot all your other weapon until you just have a lightning. After you shoot it, use rear attack over and over(right,left,down,down) and you can keep hit the lightning again and again (with this trick you can have three lightning shot out at one time)until a special comes back.

Secret Rooms

In many levels there are spots that look cracked. If you shoot them enough then they break and reveal secret rooms. In the construction site there are two, in the highway ther is one, in the maze there is a gate on the second floor that is destructible, in the bedroom you can destroy the gas boxes, at the carnival there is a secret ghost room that you can get into in two places. If you find the thing that looks like a haunted house you have to shoot it alot and the ground will fall in, the other place looks like a big wooden box if you shoot it then the ground will fall in too. In Neon city if you go to the top of the train rails then there will be a ramp over on the side if you get in the room and you see a wall that looks cracked you must shoot it alot then it will break and it will reveal a platform and if you get on it it will take you to the secret platform that has lightning and other good stuff. At the oil rig if you can get to the helicopter platform and have an autolob you can blow it up and get good stuff.

Carrier Craft In Neon City

To get to the Carrier craft in Neon City, you need at least 30 Turbo points. Take the railroad line(subway line whatever) and go to the top. Go across to the ramp. Be sure to already have knocked out the glass by shooting it and use your turbo off the ramp to get into the area. Pikc up The Health and the Green A. Then, turn to the LEFT wall and shoot it (Preferably use Fire missile, or Power Missile). This will then open a little area with a Green circle and a pic of the Carrier Craft on it. Go up to it, and wait. The craft will come around, grab you, and take you to another place and you have to shoot the glass again. in the first little room(big actually) you can get 2 Power Missiles and then turn and fire any weapon at the glass towards the front. I think the weapons are Homing Missile, Lightning, and Rain Missile. If you look, you should see a green arrow. Go onto it and it will shoot you to the otherside while grabbing a Full Health, and a Freeze Bomb.

Defeating Sweet Tooth

Collect as many Freeze Bombs and Remote Bombs as possible, then get on the tent. Set a Remote Bomb and a Freeze Bomb down and wait until Sweet Tooth gets on the tent. Freeze him, blow him up with remote bomb, then hit him with your special. If you get caught in his special in the process, just press Up, Up, Down, Down and you will usually break out of it. or Press Up(2), Right to use the shield when the special attack hits you, then quickly run and attack Sweettooth with your best special. It is easier if you use Minion and Sweet Tooth to defeat him. or Try using remote weapons by Freeze first, then Bomb. When caught in his special, put on your Shield or Hyperspace. His special will not find you if you are invisible. or Utilize far away attacks, and stay near to places where you can get to health. If he hits you with his special, press Up(2), Down(2) to teleport. Also, utilize freezing.

Secret Room In Construction Yard

At the construction yard, go up onto the floor with one building. Break the building and go to the top right corner. There is a shadow - shoot it until it breaks open. You will find a lot of stuff in there.

Master The Crane At Construction Level

When you go through one of the portals it brings you to a platform. Go straight blow up the wall or go through the glass to get inside. You are in the crane. When you see a car while you are in the crane press X when the car is inside of the green circle. Then you can bring the car to 2 places. The best place to bring the car is the unfinished building with the fire in it. When the car is over it, press X to release it and it will fall into it get hit by the fire and have damage. This is very effective and a guarantee you will win the match. In a 1 player tournament match you cannot use the crane when you fight the boss.

3D Levels

To unlock the 3d levels you first have to have a tournament game saved. Then you play the saved game but do not die. Quit the game then at the level select go to the end you will see a couple of 3d levels pick any one you like. These 3d levels play only on deathmatch mode.

Bonus Audio

Play track two and higher of the game disc in an audio CD player to hear music by Rob Zombie, Cirrus, Cypress Hill, Skold, Goulspoon, One Minute Silence, and various voiceovers.

Play Your Own Music

Start a game in tournament or deathmatch mode. Pause the game, open the PlayStation lid, and replace the game disc with an audio CD. When the game resumes, the music from the CD will begin playing. Note: Do not replace the game disc with another PlayStation game.

Bonus Deathmatch Levels

Successfully complete any tournament mode level, then save the game to unlock a deathmatch mode level. Each completed tournament level will unlock a new deathmatch level.

Play As Bosses

Successfully complete the game once with any character. After Sweet Tooth is defeated, save the game and watch your character's ending sequence. Then all of the Bosses, including Crusher, Moon Buggy, Super Thumper, RC Car, Super Axel, Super Slamm, Super Auger, Minion, and Sweet Tooth will be unlocked.
