Unreal Tournament PS2 - Cheats, Hints, Easter Egg

Cheats

4 Player With ILink

You can play up to 4 player multiplayer with 4 PlayStation 2's and a 4 point fire wire hub. Connect fire wire from each PS 2 to the hub. Start a multiplayer game, pause the game and press Left, Circle, Left, Right, Square, Right. It should say "Waiting For Other Players." Have each person hit Start to join the game.

Big Head Mode

At the title screen, press Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Circle(3). Select multi-player mode, highlight the "Mutators" option and press X. Highlight the new "Big Head" option, then press Right, X.

Level Skip

Pause the game and press Up, Down, Left, Right, Right, Left, Circle.

Level Select

Save the game and return to the main menu. Select the "Resume Game" option, then highlight the previously saved game and press Up, Down(2), Up, Left, Up, Right, Down.

Invincibility

Pause the game and press Square, Circle, Left, Right, Circle, Square.

Maximum Ammunition

Pause the game and press Left, Right, Circle(3), Right, Left.

Fatboy Mutator

At the title screen, press Circle(3), Up, Down(2), Up, Circle(3). Select multi-player mode and choose the Fatboy Mutator. Get killed to have the new Mutator get thinner. Get a kill to have the Mutator get bigger.

Stealth Mutator

At the title screen, press Square(2), Circle(2), Square(2), Circle(2). Select multi-player mode and choose the Stealth Mutator.

Hints

Fast Mode

To get fast mode on you have to go to multy player, select mutator options, then go down until you find fast mode.

New Characters

if you get farther in the game you can get new characters but it doesn't matter that much because they have no special abilities but they just look cooler!

"The Predator" Theory

All computer players do not exactly know your location but in the boss round with Damien the best way to escape his evil grasp is to pick up a stealth belt No More Stealth Mode Mutators go in and show Damien what you got first get the Stealth Belt then hurry to get a weapon enhancer then listen to that Hi-tech sound of the gun. This is truly a unique approuch but remeber this is also a technique that Damien uses so if you see a figure that looks like the guy from "The Predator" Run like hell.

999 Redeemers

Enable the "Invincibility" code when in the Face's Of World level for capture the flag. Get the Redeemer from the middle of either castle. They are found on the left hyper link. Then enable the "Maximum ammunition" code to get 999 Redeemers. Fall out of space and you will not die. Just press R2 to shoot the controllable rocket.

Bonus Levels

Successfully complete the game on the inhuman difficulty setting to unlock 7 death match and 4 capture the flag levels. No additional two player levels will be unlocked.

Firewire Multi-player Mode

Note: This trick requires a four port Firewire PC hub. Use Firewire cables to connect the iLink port of one to three more PlayStation 2 consoles to the hub. Pause the game in two player multi-player mode and press Left, Circle, Left, Right, Square, Right. Have all players press Start at the waiting screen.

USB Multi-player Mode

Note: This trick requires a USB keyboard and USB mouse. Change the controller configuration to set the keyboard to player three and the mouse to player four. The game can now by played with four players.
