Valorant Bug Aggressively Demoting Players In Ranked Mode

Valorant is one game that becomes very competitive, especially when you play the ranked mode. It is very difficult for players to perform equally well in every match and move up the ranks at Valorant. And now, there is a Valorant bug that aggressively lowers players in competitive mode, which is quite frustrating.

If you are playing with a random player, poor performance can be a reason you lose and be negotiated. So, it has been quite difficult for new players to increase their ranking in Valorant, and now we have a ranking bug to worry about.

As usual, Valorant tweeted about this bug on Twitter and assured that the developers are working hard to eliminate it. As per the tweet, only the rating displayed is affected by this bug; players will eventually return to their original rank as soon as they win the match. However, we do not know how long it took for developers to resolve this issue in Ranking.

We're aware of some issues with the ranked system aggressively demoting players and are actively fixing. These demotions won't last long-term, only the displayed rank should be impacted, winning a game will put players back in the correct rank again.

This news comes as good news for players who have been stuck in the single rank since Ranking mode came out. However, most players blame this on random matchmaking, not the ranking system.

Most of the time, solo Valorant players can play with people who don't know anything about the game. Also, quite often, new players come out of competitive matches among leaving other teammates to suffer. If you combine all of that with a bug that aggressively lowers the rankings of players, players will growl.

Nevertheless, Valorant is relieved to acknowledge this problem and is addressing it now.
