Kratos God of War is now available in Fortnite

After Sony’s not-so-subtle tease Wednesday, God of War main character Kratos is now available as a purchasable skin in Fortnite. Even though he is a Sony character, he’s not exclusive to the PS4 or PS5 platforms – you’ll be able to buy his skins on any platform Fortnite can be played on, and players on all platforms will be able to see him in-game.

We should note that there’s one PlayStation exclusive thing about this God of War protagonist, though – if you’re playing a match as Kratos on the PlayStation 5, you’ll unlock Armored Kratos Style.

For 2,200 V-Bucks, the in-game currency of Fortnite, you’ll get Kratos skins, gliders, Mimir back bling, and a Leviathan Ax pickaxe (which comes with emoting). You can also buy the skin and the back bling as a bundle for 1,500 V-Bucks.

Sony and Epic Games produced a short snippet to help boost Kratos’ debut:

The newest season of Fortnite just launched on Wednesday, and it features hunters from different realities as collectible skins that you can get from the game’s seasoned battle tickets (including the Mandalorian and his regular companion Grogu, aka Baby Yoda). Kratos is a high fit addition to the lineup, although he may not be the only video game crossover we’ve seen this season – rumors point to a Microsoft Master Chief icon perhaps joining the game as well.
