Ever feel like you own a part of Fortnite "OG"? Well, thanks to today's amazing Item Shop rotation (January 15th, 2022), players can buy a Renegade Raider (or at least a variant of it) for just 200 V-Bucks.

However, there is a small catch. The skin will only cost 200 V-Bucks if certain parameters are met. That said, here's how to get the Renegade Raider 2.0 skin for just 200 V-Bucks.

How to get the Renegade Raider (Blaze) skin for 200 V-Bucks in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1

For readers wondering if there is some secret trick or glitch involved in the process, those doubts can be dispelled. The only condition is that players must take part in the Reboot Rally event that took place in Chapter 3 Season 4.

Those who manage to get 200 points are rewarded with a cosmetic item that is part of the Renegade Flame Set. With Chapter 4 Season 1 well under way, the developers have now added cosmetic items from Reboot Reboot Chapter 3 Season 4 to the Item Shop today.

Those with all the cosmetics from Reboot Rally only need to spend 200 V-Bucks to get the skin and back bling when purchasing the Renegade Flame Bundle.

Since skins are part of the Renegade Flame Set, they can be purchased at a discounted price when purchasing the Renegade Flame Bundle. Here's a quick recap of how to buy Renegade Raider 2.0 for 200 V-Bucks:

  • Own all cosmetics from the Reboot Rally that occurred in Chapter 3 Season 4.
  • Go to the Item Shop before the next rotation occurs and look for the Renegade Flame Bundle (it should be at the very top of the Item Shop).
  • Click on the bundle and purchase it for 200 V-Bucks.

Those who haven't participated in the Reboot Rally Chapter 3 Season 4 event will not be able to get the skin for 200 V-Bucks. They had to buy the entire Renegade Flame Bundle at the given price.

Why is Blaze called Renegade Raider 2.0?

While Blaze is not an "OG" Renegade Raider, they share a lot in common. Besides the fact that they look very similar, the same character models have been used to create both outfits.

It's called "Headhunter" and is likely one of the first character models used in Fortnite. Many other popular skins such as Aura, Astra, Yee-Haw, even Black Widow were all created using this character model.

In a way, this leaves Blaze and other skins using these "OGs" character models in their own right. To some extent, the Aura is by far the most popular of these outfits, and its fame has even replaced the Renegade Raider based on certain data. and metrics.

With all that said, maybe one-day Epic Games will bring back the real McCoy and add the outfit to his Item Shop for everyone to buy. Given that Rambunctious and Tidy were added back for a few minutes before being jumped off again, there's still hope for Renegade Raider in Fortnite.
