Ubisoft’s upcoming title, Far Cry 6, is one of the most anticipated titles of 2021. In August 2020, Ubisoft Montreal released the latest Far Cry trailer, and everyone in the gaming community lost their minds. The main reason behind this crazy fun is Giancarlo Esposito, the actor who played an important role in the game.

Far Cry 6 Release Date

Far Cry 6 will be released in 2021, but there is currently no definite information regarding the game release date. However, according to a leaked Microsoft list, the new game release date maybe May 25, 2021.

Initially, Ubisoft planned to release the game on February 18, 2020; however, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the studio had to postpone the release date.

Like most latest titles, Ubisoft’s Far Cry 6 will be released for the last and current generation consoles, namely, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PS4, and PS5. Apart from that, the FPS title will be available for PC and Google Stadia as well.

According to a leaked Microsoft listing, Far Cry 6’s file size will be around 50GB on Xbox. Obviously, file sizes will vary on PS5, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC.

Far Cry 6 location and Setting

As the game trailer, the events of Far Cry 6 take place in the modern world of Yara, a fictional island based in Cuba. Under Anton Castillo’s dictatorship, Yara was isolated from the outside world. The entire Yara country in chaos as Castillo used military force to suppress the votes of citizens who opposed his rule.

In that chaotic world, you play as Dani Rojas, who must find a way to destroy Castillo’s dictatorship. The open-world game will present players with many dangerous challenges. So you have to survive the obstacles and make your way to the top to bring down Castillo, who trained his son Diego to follow the same trail.

Far Cry 6 Multiplayer: Is It Co-op?

Similar to the previous Far Cry video game, Far Cry 6 will also present a co-op feature. The co-op feature will allow up to four players to play together. However, co-op play will be limited to side quests. No word from Ubisoft about introducing cooperative play for the main campaign. Even so, you can still explore the game’s amazing with your friends.
