3. In-game events

Ariana Grande's concert will soon be held in-game, information regarding the timing of the event is unknown. Some sources state that it might happen after the Fortnite 17.21 update, while others suggest that it will happen next season. Despite this, the in-game event was long overdue.

Additionally, it's possible for players to experience another Fortnitemares event as Fortnite Season 8 will be live until October and may end sometime after the festive season.

4. Map changes

While it's hard to predict map changes, Twitter users have a working concept for the Fortnite Season 8 map, calling it "Fortnite Lunar."

Based on the concept, after the aliens pulled up parts of the moon on the island, some locations and POIs on the island now have low-gravity biomes and space-related structural features. In addition to the changing landscape, a war of succession breaks out between two rival factions, who are fighting for control of the island.
