Lamborghini Murciélago Vs Tesla Model Y Within 1/4 Mile Drag

"Lamborghini Murcielago Vs Tesla Model Y," it sounds like an epic drag contest. Brooks, a popular drag racing enthusiast on YouTube, recently uploaded a quarter-mile drag racing video between the legendary Tesla Model Y electric SUV and the legendary Lamborghini Murcielago, on his channel "DragTimes."

The Tesla Model Y is a "Performance" variant that operates from 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. Meanwhile, Lamborghini Murcielago has racing tires for extra grip. The Italian sports car also has a non-performance engine tuned to the exhaust fire.

Several other cars including the modified Tesla Model X and Performance Model 3 were also on the race track that day. This is all that happened.

Lamborghini Murciélago vs Tesla Model Y

The first race was between the modified Tesla Model Y performance and the lightweight wheels; and Audi RS5. The Model Y produces 456 HP and 497lb-ft of torque, while the Audi RS5 is powered by a 2.9-liter six-cylinder engine that produces 444 HP and 443lb-ft grunt, having 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds.

Audi RS5 won this race, mainly because the Tesla Model Y was left in the "Chill Mode" acceleration setting. This is a mode that reduces power transmission.

The same Model Y performance then rises against the Tesla Model 3 performance. This time, the electric SUV accelerates well, but the Model 3P is proven to be faster.

After that, it's time for the main event. Brooks' Model Y against Lamborghini Murcielago. Lambo has a 6.2 liter V12 that produces 570 HP and runs Toyo R888R tires.

Tesla easily wins the race. Especially because the Lambo driver is getting late and Model Y is halfway through. According to the draggy time measuring device, Model Y completes 1/4 mile in 11.93 seconds.
