Call of Duty fans is looking forward to fighting in Caldera, the new Warzone map coming in December. And now, you can prepare for your first drop with a detailed map showing significant areas of the new location.
Warzone players know the importance of choosing the right place to drop early in the game. Landing in a remote area can be a safe option, but you won't likely find any high-level loot and items. Landing in hot spots can help you find equipment almost instantly, but you'll have to fight every other player with the same idea.
Warzone's next map, Caldera, will likely provide a similar experience. Players can start thinking about where they want to land since a detailed map of the new island was revealed today.
The caldera has 15 different sections that will likely provide a different landing experience. Part A, for example, is called Arsenal and seems to have lots of buildings that can contain game-changing loot. Area Fields are a large part of the map that appear to have large open areas and scattered farm buildings, which may make finding loot in the early game difficult.
The following is a list of areas in the Caldera:
- Arsenal
- Docks
- Runway
- Ruins
- Mines
- Peak
- Beachhead
- Village
- Lagoon
- Airfield
- Fields
- Sub Pen
- Power Plant
- Capital
- Resort

Caldera will be released on December 9th for everyone, meaning players still have time to prepare. However, if you have Vanguard, you can try Caldera one day early on December 8. Consider taking a look at this map before your first drop to better understand what to expect when you land.
