Official Android Game Coming to Windows PC

Google has finally brought Android games to Windows PCs. The company will launch its Google Play Games app in 2022. It will bring Android games to Windows PCs, laptops, and tablets. Google teased the announcement during The Game Awards 2021 without providing further technical details.
Google will use its software to run apps and offer emulated Android titles and games that run natively on Windows. The app will be available for Windows 10 and 11. Previously, users had to rely on Android emulator software like Bluestacks to play mobile games on PC.

Android Games on PC, Mac, tablets, and TV
Google has not released specific details regarding the app. However, according to the company's "Games Future" presentation, they are planning to bring Android apps to the Mac. It seems the company will start this off by loading the best 100-125 Android games onto PC and then scaling it to a thousand games.
The app will most likely be cross-platform, allowing users to seamlessly move back and forth from phone to PC. Google's main goal is to let player users play on any screen. This includes smartphones, tablets, desktops, smart displays, and even TVs.

Microsoft has also built a Windows Subsystem for Android to run apps from multiple sources. However, it lacks native Google Play support, meaning fewer Android games and apps for Windows 11 PCs. Hopefully, the Google Play Games app can fill that void.
