The most powerful weapon in Fortnite Season 7

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 has arrived, and with it, some new weapons.

Weapons are vaulted and not vacated as Fortnite would have liked, but with new seasons, there's often a new weapon related to the theme (which will eventually be skipped over when it becomes irrelevant) added to the game. That remains true for Season 7.

Most notably, the Avengers event in 2019 saw Fortnite add Marvel-related weapons. Even recently, the game had a blaster that Tony Stark made. Now, due to Season 7's alien theme, Fortnite has added storyline-related weapons, some of which are very powerful.

5) Turrets

These are the least mastered weapons because of their only true limitation. The turret is only found at alien sites, and cannot be moved. Previously, the turret was a legendary device that could be placed on any floor. They are now limited to foreign sites only, but the amount of damage that can be done with them warrants a place on this list.

4) Heavy assault rifle

Heavy assault rifles are not being used for the latest season of Fortnite. Its high damage rate is offset only slightly by a slower rate of fire than its counterpart, the standard assault rifle. Headshots can deal less damage and make the opponent work quickly.

3) Pump shotgun

The pump gun, while not specific to Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7, is pretty powerful. It's only limited by its firing speed, but headshots are quite easy to get and can immediately knock or kill your opponent, depending on their rarity. That hasn't changed for the season either, but it has been a staple of the game for a long time.

2) Hand cannon

The hand cannon often referred to as the Desert Eagle or Deagle, is another weapon used against aliens. The track record so far suggests that Fortnite is looking to add good, powerful weapons, to the game, highlighting the level of threat the island faces.

Hand cannons fall into that category, as the use of their heavy bullets can cause a lot of damage. Aiming at it is also pretty easy, making it a one or two-kill shot in close or even mid-range combat.

The Rail Gun is a new addition specific to Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7. This weapon, created by Imagined Order, is designed to be an alien killing machine. This gun, a kind of sniper rifle, allows the player to enter and target certain things. It can also shoot through surfaces, making it a very dangerous weapon. Oh, and it does extra damage to the spaceship.
