Call Of Duty Mobile Patch Notes: Mid-season update buffs the Fennec and more

Call Of Duty Mobile Season 5: The 'In Deep Water' update was released at the end of last month and arrived with a huge drop in content. In addition, there is also a balance update that shakes the meta from Season 4.

Both the QXR and PP19 Bizon SMG are nerfed and players are looking for new, overpowered weapons.

ASM-10 gets nerfed and so does AGR 556. However, players in competitive matches are still sticking with QXR and Bizon. The reason is that both SMGs have the same melee kill timeframes from Season 4.

However, yesterday COD Mobile players received a minor update, and with that comes a mid-season balance update, replacing some weapons. Players may be interested in learning about this change as they may have a secret about the potential new meta in COD Mobile.

Fennec has been given a series of nerfs that make it a very decent weapon this season.

July 8 COD Mobile Patch Notes

Here are all the Patch Notes that went live yesterday via mini update.

Fennec

  • Base magazine size, chest damage, reload speed, damage range buffed in Fennec without attachments.
  • Base magazine size and damage in Akimbo Fennec buffed. However, movement speed is nerfed.
  • Hip-fire recoil without attachments increased
  • Movement speed nerfed when Fennec is equipped with No Stock, Light magazine, and MIP Lightweight Barrel

FR 556

  • Base reload speed buffed

Pharo

  • Base damage range increased

BK57

  • First shot accuracy buffed with no attachments

XPR-50

  • Base vertical recoil nerfed

There are other updates like CR 56 AMAX bug fixes with M67 attachments. However, these are all changes to the balance of weapons currently in the game.

Fennec was disgusting after becoming overpowered soon after its release last year.

Because of this, the buff in Fennec is much more significant this time around but players must take its recoil and fire rate into account. There is a learning curve with this weapon and it takes some skill to be accurate within range.

Plus, players will definitely rock this SMG more for the rest of the Season.
