Call Of Duty: Warzone Season 5 Will Introduce Two New Perks

Call of Duty Warzone Season 5 is just around the corner, and Activision has released the patch notes for the highly anticipated release. Season 5 of Warzone will bring two new perks along with four new weapons. Apart from that, the update will come with some map changes and a Gulag-like 'Rush'.

Now perks, along with weapons, affect gameplay marginally, and Warzone hasn't seen its fair share of changes since its release. COD Warzone hasn't seen any major changes to the perk system, with most of the meta the same across almost all seasons of the game.

Meanwhile, Warzone Season 5 will get a new Combat Scout and Tempered Perk. As the two new Warzone perks aim to change the meta, players will experience new tactical gameplay.

New Warzone Perks in Season 5

Combat Scout Perk

This new advantage called Combat Scout works by providing information about players when they damage enemies. Players equipped with the Combat Scout will see enemies in no time in glowing orange color.

We can already see the potential of this new Warzone perk being the next meta. Since damaging the enemy further will reveal one's camp, avoid hasty changes. Other than that, cleaning the place will be fun with this one.

Tempered Perk

Now, the excitement of this new Warzone is quite complicated. While Tempered Perk will make some radical changes to the armor system, those changes will come at a cost. Tempered Perk will work by strengthening armor plates, making them heavier and able to take more damage. Unlike the traditional 50 damage, the armor capacity will increase to 75 damage points.

In addition, players can only equip two armor plates at a time. This, in turn, will make it relatively easier for players to recover faster and fight fast. Now the catch, Tempered Perk, will come at the expense of your Perk 2 slot. As we said, it's a tricky advantage, but considering the benefits of the Tempered Perk, we'd say it's worth the Perk 2 slot.

In addition, Warzone Season 5 will introduce a Gulag inspired by 'Rush.' For the uninitiated, Rush is a multiplayer map featured in COD Black Ops 2. The gameplay focuses on paintball-type rush gameplay. Meanwhile, the new Warzone perks will undoubtedly make some much-needed changes to the meta in COD Warzone in Season 5.
