Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8: Is Naruto Coming to the new season?

Fortnite Season 7 has been wild for loopers. Despite the alien invasion theme, drastic map changes, and weapons, players have witnessed a lot of collaborations this season.

The latest collaboration is the Rift Tour, which marks the release of Ariana Grande's skin in Fortnite Season 7. However, it looks like Epic has more for players. As per the leaks that came in, Fortnite fans might be in for a treat. It looks like Fortnite x Naruto is about to become a reality, and that collaboration could happen in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8.

Fortnite x Naruto: What do leaks tell us about the future collaboration?

Rumors and leaks surrounding Fortnite x Naruto originated after a document was released in the Epic Games v Apple court case. Players can open documents here.

The document describes the various workable collaboration drawings that may exist in the pipeline, along with crosses that have occurred before. What makes players and fans captivated is the mention of Naruto Uzumaki in one of the slides. While the details are sparse enough, it does plenty to encourage players' hysteria.

A new leak now suggests that a Fortnite x Naruto collaboration might happen during Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8.

According to prominent Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR, Epic has acquired the rights to Naruto and it may be part of the next Battle Pass i.e., Fortnite Season 8. Check out the tweet below.

ShiinaBR further stated that they were "can't personally fully confirm" if the Naruto leak was genuine. However, the source has accurately leaked Ariana Grande's Fortnite concert, the newly released The Suicide Squad skin, and Kevin the Cube's arrival in Chapter 7.

But as with any leak and unconfirmed source, it's hard to completely buy everything. Additionally, Epic has been trying to bring Naruto into Fortnite since the Epic v Apple case. So Naruto's inclusion has probably been around for a long time.

With that being said, if Epic manages to bring Naruto into Fortnite Season 8, it will undoubtedly be one of the most influential crossovers the game has ever witnessed. Players can also see a special ax for Naruto collaborations, alongside emotes and other cosmetics. However, without official confirmation from Epic, this is just speculation.
