Fortnite Chapter 2 - Season 7 is still not over, and Epic Games hasn't officially teased anything about the upcoming season. However, the looper is always curious about what lies ahead. From the new Battle Pass to new skins and events, there's a lot of content players can look forward to in Season 8 of Fortnite.

When is Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 going to begin?

The Battle Pass Fortnite Season 7 currently has an end date of September 12. This means players can expect the upcoming season to start on September 13. However, there could be an unforeseen delay, which Epic Games should inform all Fortnite players about.

Collaboration is a stable way for Fortnite and it's been like this for a long time. Season 7 saw Fortnite add characters like Rick Sanchez from the popular show Rick and Morty. This is just one of several collaborations that loopers have witnessed in recent seasons. At a recent Rift Tour event on Fortnite, American pop star Ariana Grande was the star of the show.

Similarly, there have been some leaks about some of the collaborations players are expecting in Fortnite Season 8. The first is the Naruto crossover which is being talked about a lot on social media platforms.

While there's no official teaser, Naruto might be a possible character in next season's Battle Pass. Dataminers also suggested a new mechanic, called Sideways, will be coming to the game soon. It will be something akin to the "Inverted" dimension of the popular Netflix show Stranger Things. This mechanic is also rumored to be introducing monsters in the game.

The same mechanics might also bring monsters and rideable mechanics into the game. After the rideable UFO, everything seemed possible on the island of Fortnite.

Dataminers have gathered intel indicating that Mothership will kidnap some POIs by the end of Season 7, leaving them to an anti-gravity zone like Holly Hatchery. The famous leaker HYPEX has provided some POI images as shown below.
