Minecraft: How to conquer End City

Any Minecraft player trying to take on Final City knows they can be very dangerous, especially if the player isn't prepared. City of the End contains a plethora of hazards, such as fall damage, shulkers, enderman hoards, and more. Players had to prepare well if they wanted to stand a chance of conquering the City of the End.

Dying at the End is one of the most unfortunate events that can happen in Minecraft. Fortunately, players can prepare with a wide variety of items that will reduce most of the risks posed by the City of the End. These items and techniques are listed below.

End City techniques

As seen in the image above, shulker is one of the most dangerous threats found in End Cities. They inflict a levitation status effect on players, which will cause them to soar into the sky. If players are not prepared, they will die from drop damage when the status effect wears off.

To prevent this bad luck, players can bring magic boots that fall from feathers or slowly fall potions. This will reduce all fall damage, which is a must when dealing with shulkers. This potion is also great against fights with Ender Dragons, which is another plus.

Minecraft players will also likely have to deal with hoards of endermans at some point when trying to loot City of the End. To quickly put an end to these dangerous hordes, players can build overhangs that are too short for the endermen to breakthrough. Players can then sit under the overhang and swipe their feet as they can't attack.

If players have magic boots that fall from feathers or active potions that fall slowly, they are advised to build to the top of the tower and work their way down. This will make it easier to deal with those pesky shulkers.

Players are also advised to use shields to defend against shulker projectiles. However, this doesn't work in Bedrock Edition, as players will still be exposed to levitation.
