Thanking bus drivers in Fortnite is quickly becoming one of the best ways to honor and set a good example for other players. Bus drivers have been working hard over the last few years of Fortnite's existence. They have been working without compensation until now.

All driver efforts can now be paid after dropping the player. Players have the option to tip with in-game currency. Players can leave a piece of gold for the bus driver by talking to NPCs throughout the map.

If Fortnite players find themselves having too much gold in their hands, options to show charity and generosity are available to them. Tipping the bus driver 4,000 Gold Bars while talking to one of the NPCs on the map leads to an in-game message that everyone can see.

After players dropped 4,000 Gold Bars for the bus driver, a hidden blurb in the Fortnite killer feed announced their in-game name:

"_____ very generously tipped the bus driver!"

These messages often appear with great fanfare when someone kills another player in a fight. With so many tips, the driver must be rich. However, the publisher has not disclosed what happened to the gold bullion.

While acquiring Gold Bars can take a while, some players justify their donations by stating that drivers deserve it for the work they have done. Unfortunately, not much emerges from this action other than in-game messages in the kill feed.
