Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 Leaks: New Maps, Kangaroo, Octopus, Phone Call Teaser, & More

One thing Fortnite does know is the various leaks and rumors drawn from the data.

Each new season sees dump after dump of data leaks or rumors starting to swirl. This keeps Fortnite fans entertained for whatever is to come. It has truly become part of the Fortnite experience.

As Chapter 2 Season 7 approached, leaks appeared in droves. There's so much to unravel, but always remember, this is just speculation and not official until, well, it's official.

New Fortnite Map

One of the biggest changes with each new season is the map. Fans want to know which POIs to destroy or replace, what new structures will appear, as well as the differences and overall secrets on the map.

Talk of aliens coming to Fortnite Island certainly lends credibility to this, and so does the discussion about the appearance of kangaroos. If these leaks are true, the island appears to be heading for the dry season with abundant deserts.

Kangaroo, Octopuses, and more

LunakisLeaks, another Fortnite data maker, has unearthed some of the wildlife that may have appeared in Chapter 2 Season 7. Some previous information about kangaroos emerged, but this leak suggests more animals from Australia.

The ever-odd octopus and platypus look like they might have come to the battle royale island as a form of wildlife. No one knows how this is related to aliens.

FortTory on Twitter shared a new spectrogram that came out with several messages about the alien phenomenon. The spectrogram clearly shows the shape of the kangaroo bouncing inside.

Phone call teaser

Several posters, banners, and postcards have sprung up regarding aliens. Many believed it was a viral marketing scheme by Epic Games for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7.

These teasers come with a phone number. When called, the number reconnects to Roswell, New Mexico. It's pretty vague, but one can definitely attribute it to some kind of alien or UFO sightings.

Aliens within Fortnite

The aliens don't just come to the island to play a role in the storyline. If the leak is to be believed, like one from RealSteel, aliens will be found in-game and interfere in the battle royale.

The aliens and their UFOs might kidnap players, forcing them to board their spaceships. This could allow Fortnite players to move to other locations on the island as teleporters do, or an environmental hazard eliminating them.
