GTA San Andreas: 5 missions removed by Rockstar

130

Not all of them can reach the final version of a game, which makes this cut mission from GTA San Andreas even more interesting.

All the info found in this article can be found either in the GTA San Andreas files for the tech-savvy or through trusted websites like The Cutting Room Floor for most normal people.

Either way, it only covers known deleted missions, so anything cut and removed from the game is completely ineligible for this list.

There are seven important missions removed in GTA San Andreas. Holed Up won't be on this list, as it's nothing but a name, which will probably happen after the slashing mission, Confiscated. Likewise, Roadside Help won't be on this list because it's nothing but a name in the GTA San Andreas file.

Five missions that were cut from GTA San Andreas

All-Terrain Take Down

This mission is supposed to arrange for CJ and the crew to find out where Big Smoke lives. Big Bear, a largely forgotten character in GTA San Andreas, will stand out in this mission. He will help CJ by telling him where Big Smoke's Russian counterpart will be.

The mission would involve CJ taking over the Vagos region, with Russia not being oddly visible in the objective text.

The Truth is Out There

The Truth Is Out There are well-known missions remade by DeeZire and often linked to the actual missions. However, it is merely a recreation of this mission with what is known, and it is by no means the original cut mission.

Instead, missions include a brief dialogue and some mission text. It's very short, and even calls Area 69 by a different name: Area 51.

Most GTA San Andreas fans are aware that Area 69 is a spoof of Area 51, so it's funny that the dialogue wasn't updated back then.

Tanked Up

The mission will take place between Supply Lines... and the infamous New Model Army, and it will also involve RC vehicles. There are no objectives listed in the in-game data, so all GTA San Andreas players must exit some dialogue.

Apparently, Zero thought Berkley was dead after the Supply Line... and was bored, wondering what he was going to do now. He heard some rumbling and sent CJ to handle it. There are also multiple voice lines of two unknown characters.

Zero: "Oh dear God - Berkley is alive?"

Doberman

Doberman is the mission that makes it the final version of GTA San Andreas, except for the premise that is completely different from the original. In the cut version, players must stop a character named Poncho from being captured by someone named Officer Carver.

No objectives are found in the in-game data, all GTA San Andreas players must collect from this mission some dialogue. An example of a few lines from Officer Tenpenny can be seen below:

"CARL! GET OVER HERE! Now you listen to me, you sanctimonious piece of sh*t, Poncho is my man and the DEA don't touch my asset, that's just the f****** law!"

Impounded

Unlike many other cut missions in GTA San Andreas, Impounded is a mission where players can find out what should be the main premise.

It will be unlocked after High Stakes, Low Rider, and it will introduce players to a somewhat buggy feature found in the last game known as the impound garage.

CJ was really angry when he found out his vehicle was towed. The cops also have voice channels for these missions, and there are objectives that GTA San Andreas players can find in resources like The Cutting Room Floor.
